CANCÚN NEXTEL FASHION
With a spectacular fashion show held on Saturday, November 21st, on the open air catwalk of Cancún Fashion Nextel, Cardón wrapped up with great success and strong repercussion in the specialized press media, an important stage of international positioning of the brand. Its participation in different events of world fashion began last September in Monterrey Moda Nextel, to later continue at the prestigious New York Fashion Week then followed by the Chicago Fashion Week.
On a large catwalk running over one of the pools of the luxurious Le Banc Hotel – on the Caribbean coast of this impressive Mexican city – the leading traditional Argentine brand received great applause during its twelve entrances modeling its Spring/Summer 2009-2010 Collection.
Over 800 guests and 180 journalists from national and international media attended the show.� In addition the catwalk was projected onto gigantic screens and on to the white wall of the hotel’s eight floors. Cancún Moda Nextel was organized for the second time as the result of an alliance between the government of Quintana Roo, Nextel Mexico and Grupo Palace Resorts, in an effort to position Cancun as an exclusive world fashion center.
Cardón’s turn on the catwalk was closed with Belén Zini, our campaign model, and later the brand’s authorities joined the models onstage. It had been a warm night full of stars and pure glamour. It closed with an impressive show of fireworks.
